Loose Core Globulars

By David Nakamoto

Of the possible objects an urban observer might see with a 6 inch telescope or larger, star clusters are among the easiest and most popular. Globular clusters, despite their name, are only roughly spherical, and many don't condense to a point of light in the middle. In this series of articles, I'll try and give a pair of globulars per article that are of the non-condensed core type, as recommended objects for the urban based observer.  Link to article ->
